The January Critical Challenge will be going home on paper. I have also posted the assignment on our GOOGLE CLASSROOM (link on top right of this page). You may do the work on the page that is sent home or directly on our new ONLINE classroom!

GOOGLE CLASSROOM UP AND RUNNING!!

IT WILL ALWAYS BE AVAILABLE FROM THIS BLOG ON THE TOP RIGHT HAND SIDE!
We now have our very
own VIRTUAL classroom. Each student in Ms. Bieler’s Grade 1 class has been
added to our Google Classroom. I will post mini-assignments that students will
need to do and “hand-in” virtually on the internet.
STEPS
TO GET ONTO OUR NEW VIRTUAL CLASSROOM
1. In your web browser go to: gapps.yrdsb.ca
2. You will be asked to provide your username and
password. (Every student has that information in the front of their agendas)
3. This will take you to your Google Drive (all
work can be done from anywhere and will always be saved in your account. If you
start an assignment at school in your google drive, it will be waiting for you
at home when you log back into your account)
4. On the top right hand corner you will see 9
small boxes. click on them and a list of apps will appear. Click on more and
you will see a green app called classroom on the bottom left side. click to
open Classroom.
5. You will then see our Google classroom 1A

7. It will now take you into our class
8. I have posted your first assignment “FAVOURITE ICE CREAM FLAVOUR” due
January 8, 2015
9. Click on FAVOURITE
ICE CREAM FLAVOUR. It will open up a Google document just for you.
10.
Give your
work a title on the top left side e.g. “Jack’s ice cream”
11.
Answer the
question using full sentences and then click on TURN IN on the top right hand
side of the page.
12.
Your work
will automatically be saved and I will get a copy of your work to review!
